개인정보처리방침
1. 처리하는 정보와 목적
- 메뉴 사진, 선택 언어, AI 분석 결과: 메뉴 글자 인식, 번역 및 주문 화면 생성에 사용합니다.
- 필수 기기 쿠키(mp_device), 해시 처리된 기기 식별값·네트워크 주소, 사용 횟수와 시각: 로그인 없이 무료 사용량을 계산하고 부정 사용을 막는 데 사용합니다.
- 접속 국가: Cloudflare가 제공하는 대략적인 국가 코드만 받아 현지 언어를 추천합니다.
- 선택형 현재 위치: 사용자가 위치 버튼을 누른 경우 브라우저 안에서만 언어 추천에 사용하며, 정확한 GPS 좌표를 서버로 전송하거나 저장하지 않습니다.
- 보안 확인 정보: 자동화된 요청을 막기 위해 Cloudflare Turnstile이 브라우저·기기 신호와 네트워크 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다.
- 계정 연결(선택): 다른 기기에서 유료 요금제를 쓰기 위해 Google 로그인 또는 이메일 인증을 선택한 경우, 확인된 이메일 주소와 연결된 기기 식별값(해시), 연결 방식과 시각을 처리합니다. 이메일 인증 코드는 해시로만 저장하며 10분 뒤 만료됩니다. 기기 연결은 이메일당 최근 3대까지 유지되고 로그아웃하면 해당 기기 연결을 삭제합니다. Google 로그인 시 Google이 확인한 이메일 주소만 받으며 비밀번호는 받지 않습니다.
- 방문 통계: Cloudflare Web Analytics로 쿠키 없이 페이지 조회 수, 유입 경로, 국가, 기기 종류 같은 집계 통계를 봅니다. 개별 방문자를 추적하지 않습니다. 서비스 이용 횟수(분석 실행, 결제 시작 등)도 개인 식별 정보 없이 날짜별 합계로만 기록합니다.
- 문의 메일: 사용자가 직접 메일을 보낸 경우 답변과 문제 해결을 위해 메일 주소와 내용을 처리합니다.
- 유료 결제 정보(이용권·구독): 결제한 경우 결제업체가 보내는 고객 이메일, 주문·구독·상품 번호, 상태, 갱신일과 해시 처리된 기기 식별값을 요금제 적용과 고객 지원에 사용합니다. 카드 번호는 Traveler Menu가 직접 받거나 저장하지 않습니다.
2. 보유 및 파기
- 메뉴 사진과 분석 결과는 Traveler Menu의 데이터베이스에 저장하지 않습니다. 결과는 현재 브라우저 화면에만 표시됩니다.
- 무료 사용량 및 부정 사용 방지용 해시 기록은 마지막 사용 후 최대 30일 이내에 자동 삭제합니다.
- 필수 기기 쿠키는 브라우저에 최대 1년간 저장되며, 사용자가 브라우저 데이터에서 직접 삭제할 수 있습니다.
- 문의 메일은 문의 처리 및 분쟁 대응에 필요한 기간 동안 보관한 뒤 삭제합니다. 법령상 보존 의무가 있으면 해당 기간을 따릅니다.
- 구독 기록은 계약 이행, 고객 지원, 세무·분쟁 대응 및 법령상 의무에 필요한 기간 동안 보관합니다. 요금제별 사용 횟수는 각 결제 기간 단위로 관리합니다.
3. 외부 처리업체 및 국외 처리
- Google Gemini API: 메뉴 사진과 분석 지시를 전송하여 문자 인식·번역을 수행합니다. Google의 서비스 운영 국가에서 처리될 수 있습니다. Google은 안전·오용 방지를 위해 입력과 출력을 제한된 기간 보관할 수 있습니다. 자세한 내용은 Gemini API 데이터 처리 안내를 확인하세요.
- Cloudflare: 사이트 호스팅, 네트워크 보안, Turnstile 및 이메일 전달을 제공합니다. 자세한 내용은 Cloudflare 개인정보처리방침과 Turnstile Privacy Addendum를 확인하세요.
- Google: 사용자가 Google 로그인을 선택한 경우 로그인과 이메일 확인을 처리합니다.
- Resend: 이메일 인증 코드를 발송합니다.
- Lemon Squeezy: 이용권과 유료 구독의 결제, 세금 계산, 영수증, 구독 관리를 처리합니다. 제휴(어필리에이트) 링크(주소에

4. 쿠키와 선택권
현재 광고·분석용 쿠키는 사용하지 않습니다. 로그인 없는 무료 이용 제한을 위한 필수 쿠키만 사용합니다. 단, 제휴 링크로 방문한 경우에는 위 Lemon Squeezy 제휴 추적용 쿠키나 브라우저 저장소가 추가로 쓰일 수 있습니다. 브라우저 설정에서 삭제할 수 있으나 무료 사용량 확인 방식에 영향을 줄 수 있습니다. 위치 권한은 거부하거나 운영체제·브라우저 설정에서 철회할 수 있습니다.
5. 이용자의 권리
본인 정보의 열람, 정정, 삭제 또는 처리 중지를 요청하려면 support@travelermenu.com으로 연락해 주세요. 본인 확인이 필요한 경우 최소한의 확인 정보를 요청할 수 있습니다.
6. 아동, 보안 및 변경
서비스는 만 14세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않습니다. 전송 구간 암호화, 비밀키 분리, 해시 처리와 자동화 요청 차단 등 합리적인 보호조치를 사용합니다. 처리 방식이 바뀌면 이 페이지의 시행일과 내용을 갱신합니다. 실제 맞춤형 광고를 도입할 때는 관련 처리 내용과 필요한 동의 절차를 먼저 추가합니다.

Privacy Policy
1. Information we process and why
- Menu photos, selected languages, and AI results: to recognize menu text, translate it, and generate an order screen.
- Essential device cookie (mp_device), hashed device and network identifiers, usage count, and timestamps: to enforce the free allowance without requiring login and to prevent abuse.
- Approximate country: a country code supplied by Cloudflare to recommend a local language.
- Optional location: if you press the location button, coordinates are used only inside your browser to suggest a language. Precise GPS coordinates are not sent to or stored by our server.
- Security verification data: Cloudflare Turnstile may process browser, device, and network signals to prevent automated requests.
- Optional account linking: if you choose Google sign-in or email verification to use a paid plan on another device, we process the verified email address, a hashed device identifier, the linking method, and time. Email codes are stored only as hashes and expire after 10 minutes. Up to the 3 most recent devices stay linked per email, and signing out removes that device link. With Google sign-in we receive only the email address Google has verified, never your password.
- Visit statistics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless, to see aggregate page views, referrers, countries and device types. It does not track individual visitors. Usage events (scans, checkout starts and similar) are stored only as daily totals without personal identifiers.
- Support email: if you contact us, we process your address and message to respond and resolve the issue.
- Paid purchase data (passes and subscriptions): if you purchase a plan, we process the customer email, order, subscription and product identifiers, status, renewal date, and hashed device identifier supplied by the payment provider to grant access and provide support. Traveler Menu does not directly receive or store card numbers.
2. Retention and deletion
- Traveler Menu does not store menu photos or analysis results in its database. Results remain only in the current browser view.
- Hashed quota and anti-abuse records are automatically deleted within 30 days after the last use.
- The essential device cookie may remain in your browser for up to one year and can be removed through browser settings.
- Support emails are kept only as needed to answer requests and handle disputes, or as required by law.
- Subscription records are kept as needed to perform the contract, provide support, handle tax or disputes, and meet legal obligations. Plan usage is tracked by billing period.
3. Service providers and international processing
- Google Gemini API: receives the menu photo and instructions to provide recognition and translation. Processing may occur in countries where Google operates. Google may retain inputs and outputs for a limited period for safety and abuse prevention. See Gemini API data handling.
- Cloudflare: provides hosting, network security, Turnstile, and email routing. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
- Google: handles sign-in and email verification when you choose Google sign-in.
- Resend: delivers email verification codes.
- Lemon Squeezy: processes travel pass and subscription payments, tax calculation, receipts, and subscription management. Only if you arrive through an affiliate link (a link containing
?aff=), we load Lemon Squeezy’s affiliate tracking script, which may use a cookie, browser storage and device identification (browser fingerprinting) for up to 30 days to credit the referrer at checkout. See the Lemon Squeezy Privacy Policy.
4. Cookies and your choices
We currently use no advertising or analytics cookies. We use only an essential cookie for the login-free usage limit. If you arrive through an affiliate link, Lemon Squeezy’s affiliate tracking cookie or browser storage described above may also be used. You may remove it in browser settings, though this can affect quota verification. You may refuse or revoke location access in your browser or operating system.
5. Your rights
To request access, correction, deletion, or restriction, email support@travelermenu.com. We may ask for limited information to verify your request.
6. Children, security, and changes
The service is not directed to children under 14. We use reasonable safeguards including encrypted transmission, separated secrets, hashing, and automated-request protection. We will update this page and its effective date when our practices change. Before enabling personalized advertising, we will add the required disclosures and consent controls.
