1. Read the printed unit
Look for ml, cl, L, oz, g, kg, pieces, cups, bottles, or local units. A bare number may be a product code or price, so do not assign a unit that is not printed.
Size labels can describe volume, weight, number of pieces, or the number of people a dish is intended to serve. Keep each label with the item it belongs to.

“For 2” describes a suggested number of diners; “2 pieces” describes quantity. Neither guarantees how filling the dish will be. Appetite, side dishes, and restaurant style differ.
Small, regular, large, half, and full can appear in columns or abbreviations. Trace the row and column visually so that a size is paired with the correct price. Take a closer photo when the grid is crowded.
Large pots, platters, tasting sets, and barbecue packages may require a minimum number of people or orders. Confirm the minimum and whether the printed price is per person or per set.
Traveler Menu records a serving, size, weight, or volume only when it is visible in the photo. An empty field means the information was not clearly printed or read, not that the portion is standard.
Traveler Menu
